Largely the product of musician John Reeve, Black Hearted Fox performs a variety of original Americana and Country music. Based out of Durango Colorado and typically performing in the troubadour-style, the songwriting seeks to deal with themes of the repetitions of daily life, the joy of living in the southwest and the sparse ecology of the high desert.
